Trend C220X1/4TC Intumescent Cutter Set 15mm x 24mm

This Trend C220 intumescent cutter is ideal for either frame or door applications, with standard intumescent strip. It can neatly cuts grooves on doors or frames to accept intumescent strips which enable the formation of effective barriers to both fire and smoke. By using alternative diametres of ball bearings, other seal thicknesses can be introduced. Alternative bearings can be purchased to suit other thicknesses.

• Cuts the perfect sized slot into door edges and door frames for fast, perfectly flush fitting of intumescent strip.
• Bearing guide ensures the correct 4mm depth and 15mm width is always achieved to meet Fire Regulations.
• 1/4in shank, ideal for easy control with smaller routers. Position of groove can be altered with the router plunge for correct setting for 45 minutes fire and smoke protection.
• PTFE coating to minimise heat and resin build up for increased cutter performance and longevity.
• 1/4in shank for easy control in smaller routers with 'K'mark shank to ensure safe working practices.
