This Corning 96 well half area white polystyrene microplate has half the growth area of a standard 96 well plate. It has clear flat-bottom round shaped wells with a total well volume of 190µL and a recommended working volume of 25 to 125µL. White walled plate enhances luminescent signals and have low background luminescence and fluorescence. The well bottom is 60% thinner than conventional polystyrene plates, resulting in lower background fluorescence and enabling readings down to 340nm. Opaque walls to prevent well-to-well crosstalk. Optically clear flat well bottom permits direct microscopic viewing. Can be used for both top and bottom reading instruments. TC-treated for optimal cell attachment.
