USRA 0-6-0 SWITCHER LOCOMOTIVE & TENDER - UNION PACIFIC #4425 (black & silver) - N Scale: Large numbers of 0-6-0 locomotives were produced in the United States, the majority of them being used as switchers. The 0-6-0 provided a good balance of power, versatility and economy. And was used for switching operations as well as pulling freight and passenger trains on trips where high speed was not required, including suburban passenger services and moving freight trains along smaller branch lines.
